Now Western Canada’s premier plumbing, heating, and electrical distributor, Bartle & Gibson was founded by two Canadian businessmen who wanted to focus on relationships with customers and suppliers. In 1944 Charlie Bartle of Victoria, BC, and Cecil Gibson of Vancouver, BC, each started a store in their respective city, and Bartle & Gibson opened its doors for the first time.

Whistler Mechanical Ltd. was started May 1, 1985 by Ron Kobelka. Throughout the years, Ron has built a strong relationship with many contractors and homeowners around Whistler and the surrounding communities. Whistler Mechanical Ltd is involved in service work, renovations and new builds for residential homes and commercial buildings. Ron’s daughter Jordan and her husband Sandy have been working within the business since 2004. With many qualified employees working alongside them, this is truly a family run business.
